Terms of Service

Last updated:

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of PharmEasy, a pharmacy management software service operated from Beirut, Lebanon (the “Service”). By signing up for or using the Service, the subscribing pharmacy and its users (“you”) accept these Terms.

1. The Service

PharmEasy provides cloud-based software for retail pharmacies in Lebanon, including point-of-sale, inventory and expiry management, dual-currency accounting, MoPH MediTrack reporting, clinical decision support, and related functionality. The specific features available to you depend on the plan your pharmacy has subscribed to.

2. Account and responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential, for the activity of every user account associated with your pharmacy, and for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with Lebanese pharmacy regulations, including those of the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) and the Order of Pharmacists in Lebanon (OPL).

3. Subscription, fees, and payment

Subscriptions are billed monthly in US Dollars at the rate of the plan selected by your pharmacy. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change published prices for future renewal periods on 30 days' notice; price changes never apply retroactively to a billing cycle already paid.

4. Installation fee

Each PharmEasy plan includes a one-time installation fee, currently USD 1,000, which covers initial setup, data migration from your prior system, on-site staff training, receipt printer pairing, and MoPH MediTrack credential configuration. The installation fee is charged once per pharmacy and is non-refundable once installation work has begun.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to violate Lebanese or applicable foreign law;
  • Share login credentials between users, sell access to the Service, or share access with parties outside your pharmacy;
  • Attempt to bypass, disable, reverse-engineer, or probe the security of the Service;
  • Submit content that is illegal, infringing, or otherwise harmful;
  • Interfere with the normal operation of the Service or attempt to access data belonging to other pharmacies.

6. Customer data ownership

You retain all rights in the data your pharmacy enters into the Service, including its drug catalog, customer records, accounting entries, and reports. We process this data only to provide the Service to you and as described in our Privacy Policy. On request, we will export your pharmacy data in a structured format.

7. Intellectual property

The PharmEasy software, brand, logos, documentation, and source code remain the exclusive property of PharmEasy. These Terms grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your subscribing pharmacy's business during the subscription term.

8. Warranty and disclaimer

We provide the Service with reasonable care and aim for high availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. PharmEasy does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that MoPH MediTrack will be available at all times.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Lebanese law, PharmEasy's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by your pharmacy in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. In no event will PharmEasy be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.

10. Term and termination

These Terms remain in effect for as long as your pharmacy holds an active subscription. Either party may terminate by giving 30 days' written notice before the next renewal date. We may suspend or terminate the Service immediately for non-payment of fees, breach of Section 5 (Acceptable Use), or as required by law. On termination, your pharmacy may request an export of its data for 60 days, after which we may delete it subject to retention obligations set out in the Privacy Policy.

11. Force majeure

Neither party is liable for failures or delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, power or internet outages, government action, or unavailability of third-party services such as MoPH MediTrack.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Beirut, Lebanon, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-product notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
