Migration

Move your pharmacy from SoftPharm to PharmEasy in three days.

Full data migration, on-site setup, half-day staff training, and a supervised go-live — included in the one-time USD 1,000 installation fee. Your SoftPharm install keeps running through the entire process.

How it works

Three days, five steps, no surprises.

  1. Data export from SoftPharm

We export your full SoftPharm dataset — drug catalog, customers, suppliers, inventory batches, accounting balances, and historical sales — using our purpose-built migration tooling. Your SoftPharm install stays untouched and continues running through this step.

  2. Configuration in the PharmEasy environment

PharmEasy is provisioned in our cloud with your Chart of Accounts mapped to the Lebanese Plan Comptable, your branches and users configured, your MoPH MediTrack credentials wired in, and your data loaded. Done in our environment so your pharmacy is not disrupted.

  3. On-site installation

The PharmEasy team arrives on-site, pairs your receipt printers and barcode scanners, configures the till machines, and validates dual-currency settings against your live exchange rate. We test a full MediTrack submission to confirm the credentials work end-to-end.

  4. Staff training (half day)

We run a structured half-day training for your cashiers, pharmacists, and accounting staff. Each role gets a focused walkthrough of the screens they will use every day. We answer questions on the spot rather than handing over a manual.

  5. Supervised go-live

On the agreed Monday morning, your pharmacy opens on PharmEasy. A PharmEasy founder stays on-site through the first day of trading to support staff in real-time. The SoftPharm install stays running in read-only mode for two weeks as a fallback.

Migration FAQ

Questions before you move.

What data carries over from SoftPharm?
Drug catalog (including generic names, brand mappings, package sizes, and prices), customer records and ledger balances, supplier records and balances, inventory batches with expiry dates and quantities, historical sales for the trailing 24 months, and your Chart of Accounts balances at cut-over. Audit-trail-only data older than 24 months can be archived rather than imported, on request.
Will my pharmacy have downtime?
No. The configuration and data migration happen in PharmEasy's environment while your SoftPharm install keeps running normally. Cut-over is scheduled for a low-traffic morning (typically Monday) and is completed before the first sale of the day. The SoftPharm install stays available read-only for two weeks after go-live as a safety net.
How long does staff training take?
A typical pharmacy team is trained in a single half-day session on the Sunday before go-live. Role-specific walkthroughs for cashiers (POS, dispensing, MediTrack), pharmacists (CDSS, prescriptions, allergies), and the owner / accountant (cash shifts, Plan Comptable, reports). Most cashiers are productive within thirty minutes of supervised use.
Can we run SoftPharm and PharmEasy in parallel?
Yes for a limited window. After go-live, the SoftPharm install stays accessible in read-only mode for two weeks so you can cross-reference historical entries if needed. We do not recommend dual-writing to both systems in parallel — that creates reconciliation work and undermines the FEFO and MediTrack guarantees PharmEasy provides.
What does the migration cost?
Migration is included in the one-time USD 1,000 installation fee. That covers the SoftPharm data export, configuration of your Chart of Accounts and MediTrack credentials, on-site installation and printer pairing, half a day of staff training, and the supervised go-live. There is no separate per-pharmacy migration line item.
What if I have multiple branches on SoftPharm?
Each branch migrates independently. The first branch follows the three-day playbook described above; subsequent branches add roughly one to two days each. All branches share a single Chart of Accounts, customer database, and MoPH MediTrack account on PharmEasy, so consolidated reporting works from day one of branch two.
